Christians in China denounce being forced to worship Photos of President Xi Jinping
Christians in China claim they were forced to remove any Christian objects to replace them with images of the president in the form of “worship.”

In Shanxi, an 84-year-old man told Bitter Winter anonymously that he had been ordered to remove any objects that might refer to Christianity. And instead he put up pictures of Xi Jinping to give him some kind of “cult.”
“Though reluctant, the impoverished Christians had to remove the symbols since the officials threatened to cancel their subsistence allowance if they disobeyed. People must follow the party that gives them money, not God, the officials claimed,” one of the witnesses testified for Bitter Winter.

The measures for Christians are intensifying, because since Xi Jinping became president of the country, the persecution of believers is getting worse and worse.
